NUDURA's Patented Locking Mechanism locks forms together, eliminating float and compression and the need to secure forms with tape or wire, making the building process faster and more efficient. NUDURA® walls can withstand mother nature’s worst,
especially in high wind areas that are prone to hurricane and tornadoe force winds of up to 250 mph (7.0 kPA).

Fire Resistance
Building with NUDURA offers your family greater fire protection with up to a 3-4
hour fire protection rating. NUDURA® walls are built with steel reinforced concrete and a non toxic fire retardant expanded polystyrene foam. Nudura's ICForms are classified and certified under ASTM Е-119 standard:
4” (102mm) intercore panel with 1/2” (12.7mm) gypsum board from both sides = 2 hours
6”, 8”, 10”, 12” intercore panel with 1/2” (12.7mm) gypsum board from both sides = 4 hours
Sound Resistance
NUDURA’s double foam insulated concrete core acts as an effective sound barrier, filtering out unwanted noise, dampening sound vibrations and ensuring a serene and comfortable ambience within
your home.
Sound resistant class according to standard ASTM 336:
4” (102mm) intercore panel with 1/2” (12.7mm) gypsum board from both sides = STC42
6” (152mm) intercore panel with 1/2” (12.7mm) gypsum board from both sides = STC50
8” (203mm) intercore panel with 1/2” (12.7mm) gypsum board from both sides >STC55
Air- and Vapor-Barrier
NUDURA's double foam insulated concrete core acts as an effective sound barrier, dampening sound vibrations, creating a serene and comfortable ambience.
Air-Barrier class according to standard ASTM E1677-95:
Max 0.06 cfm/ft2 (0.3046 litres/second/m2)
Vapor-Barrier class according to standard ASTM E96:

NUDURA is manufactured from recycled or recyclable material. NUDURA buildings produce little waste during construction, all waste is 100% recyclable. (Subject to local recycling programs.) NUDURA® forms emit no CFC or HCFC’s. NUDURA® forms are manufactured under strict guidelines using only processes that are non ozonedepleting. Nudura contributes significanty to the LEED Program and works with the LEED Green Building Rating System, an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts. |
Cost Efficiency
The most important benefit of NUDURA is the amount of labour it can save you. NUDURA technology has a unique combination of time and money saving design features that makes it easy to build with. The patented foam interlock allows the form to be 4 way reversible, almost eliminating waste. Eliminates left and right corners which allows NUDURA Forms to be used in twice as many scenarios as non reversible forms.
Forms can easily be cut on site with any manual saw saving unnecessary on-site movement. Building with NUDURA keeps your labour costs to a minimum.
